Compile, structure and explain fifteen years of actions, decisions and metrics at a resort as complex as Abama, so that the outcome serves at once as an internal self-assessment, a public communication tool and a solid foundation for defining the destination's medium- and long-term objectives.
HAUS Healthy Buildings has worked with Abama Resort to gather all the information generated since 2010, define a common framework of criteria and metrics and build a verifiable narrative of what has been done in terms of sustainability, health and wellbeing. The report organises the data by chapters —energy, water, materials, biodiversity, health and wellbeing, governance— and benchmarks them against industry references to position the resort's actual performance.
Each chapter identifies the progress made, the areas for improvement and the levers available, so that the document works both as an impact memoir and as a roadmap for the resort's next cycles.
Document published in 2025 that consolidates fifteen years of work at the Abama resort and establishes the baseline from which to define medium- and long-term objectives. An exercise in transparency and rigour that lays the foundations for the destination's next chapter.
