Who We Are?

We are a team of professionals from diverse and complementary fields, united by a shared commitment to incorporate and integrate sustainability, health, comfort, and well-being into the criteria we use for design and construction.

Technical profiles such as architects, architectural technicians, and engineers who shape solutions aligned with HAUS’s founding mission and purpose. Biochemists, environmental scientists, and medical professionals who help us transform our projects into healthy buildings—spaces free of toxicity. Economists, lawyers, and IT specialists with expertise in real estate analysis and management, equipped to evaluate and define actions impacting cost and value; as well as legal experts who assist our clients in interpreting and addressing the challenges posed by the new regulatory framework to the sector.

JOEL VIVES

Technical Architect graduated from UPC, holding a Master’s in Project Management and a Postgraduate degree in Energy Management, specializing in renovation, sustainability, and LEAN processes; currently serving as HAUS’s Technical Director.

Founding Partner of HAUS, with a law degree from the University of Barcelona (UB), a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advisory from the Instituto de Empresa, and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate and Urban Law from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).

OLGA VELASCO

Graduated in Biochemistry from the National University of Córdoba, she leads the Healthquitecture group and the Longevity and Anti-Aging master’s program at UB. She is a member of the Architecture and Health Society and currently heads the health division at HAUS.

CAROLINA HERNÁNDEZ

Managing Partner of HAUS. He combines studies in business administration, medicine, and humanities. He is a member of several organizations related to health and architecture, such as COAC and GBC, and a promoter of reports on sustainable building. He currently works in sustainable finance and ESG criteria in construction.

RICARD SANTAMARIA

Architect specialized in building control and sustainable architecture. Currently a consultant for Verde, BREEAM New Construction, and a DGNB auditor. Advisor for LEED, WELL, Passive House, and expert in Regulation 852/2020 on Taxonomy, LCA, and LCC.

GISELL DURÁN

Technical Architect with extensive experience in construction management. He directs and manages several ongoing projects. He was the site manager for the award-winning ESPAI NATURA I project and also collaborates with the quality department.

JOSE ANTONIO QUESADA

MARC VELASCO

Founding Partner of HAUS, graduated in Business Administration and Management (ADE) from UPC. Marc is the director and manager of HAUS’s construction projects.

Trained lawyer responsible for handling administrative procedures and processing with municipal and regional authorities.

PATRICIA TERRADES

ALEX PALAU

Civil Engineer specializing in bridges and roads, Alex has extensive experience as a project manager and supervisor.

BEA DE DIEGO

Graduated in Architecture from UPC. Responsible for the materials database with sustainability and health criteria. Certifier for the Verde seal from GBC and member of the circularity working group at GBC.

JOAN CAMPMANY

Head of information and data management. Designer and creator of the tool that helps us plan, evaluate, and monitor each of our projects.
